What changed in each version of MoCapture.

v1.5.0 September 24, 2026

English. MoCapture follows your Windows language, or pick one at the top of Settings.
In English, it finds and covers US Social Security numbers, card numbers, phone numbers, email addresses and IBANs. Card numbers and IBANs are covered only when they pass their checksum.
Korean text recognition is more accurate. English is read at its original size: faster and more accurate.
Settings warns you when a shortcut clashes with one that most programs or meeting apps use.
Masked capture defaults to Ctrl+Alt+Shift+PrintScreen.
The setup package now includes install.bat, uninstall.bat and an English README.txt.

Fixed: pressing New capture used to put the editor itself into the capture. The editor now never appears in any screen capture.
Ctrl+N now takes the same path as the other capture buttons.

Every capture is kept in a history. Open it from the tray menu or the clock button in the editor, and click a capture to edit it again.
The history keeps 100 captures by default, up to 1,000 or 1 GB in Settings. The oldest go first.
A film strip along the bottom of the editor shows the last 20 captures. F folds it away.
The editor toolbar gains New capture and Capture again (Ctrl+R).
File names and the history now include the title of the captured window. You can turn this off in Settings.
No-trace mode turns off the history and the film strip.

Finds account, resident registration, phone and card numbers and email addresses in a capture and pixelates them. Choose Off, Suggest or Automatic in Settings.
Masked capture in the tray menu covers everything it finds in that one capture, whatever the setting.
Company numbers such as employee or contract IDs can be added to patterns.json and are found too.
Ctrl+Shift+C reads the text in a picture onto the clipboard.
No-trace mode writes nothing to disk until you save, and clears the clipboard after a set time.
Text recognition uses only what is built into Windows. Pictures still never leave the PC.
The installer takes /S for a silent install, for rolling out to many PCs.
The file properties now show the right original file name and description.

The editor toolbar is split into two rows: the 11 tools on top; colors, width, undo, copy, save and pin below.
The toolbar no longer gets cut off in a narrow window.
Unzip and run the installer, and shortcuts appear on the desktop and in the Start menu.
An uninstaller removes the program and asks whether to keep your settings.
